Description
What it includes
- 2 double-sided wooden boards with engraved grooves.
- Patterns side: loops, waves and figure eights in three colour bands.
- Uppercase and lowercase alphabet sides in natural wood.
- Numbers 1 to 10 side with coloured zigzags, waves and arches.
- A wooden pencil for tracing, with a slot to keep it in the board.
How it is used
At first the child traces the grooves with a finger, feeling the direction of the stroke; then with the wooden pencil, which the groove keeps on track. Once mastered, they copy the same stroke on paper. This builds the movement before asking for pencil precision.
What is it used for
It works on pre-writing, fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, and helps children remember letter shapes by touch, a multisensory support that is useful for children with dyslexia, dysgraphia or fine motor difficulties. It complements the pre-writing tracks and the maxi wooden alphabet.
