Description
Cup designed for premature or weak babies who need an alternative short-term feeding aid. It is a proven method of providing controlled amounts of breast milk when breastfeeding is not possible. Very practical resource, as it has a rim or slight protrusion to facilitate greater control of intake during feeding. Its easy handling and anatomical shape prevents milk spillage and avoids sucking problems (nipple-teat confusion). Provides a very positive oral experience.
It includes a 30 ml cup with a measuring scale to control the amount of milk ingested.
Medela bottles for sucking difficulties
The Softcup bottle has a soft silicone spoon-shaped teat that fits the baby's lips and a one-way valve that regulates the milk flow. It lets you control how much the baby takes and is an alternative to cup feeding.
