The sensory perception spheres are in eight attractive colors and are soft and very pleasant to hold. Younger children will enjoy manipulating them in free sensory play and older children will find them fascinating as they hold them and look to see the world around them in different colors. When a sphere is placed on top of an object, it magnifies it 4 or 5 times to give an enlarged view and at the same time a different color. Holding two or three spheres together creates new colors and hues; using them in a light panel will enhance children’s opportunities to mix colors.
