Octopus cold/heat cushion

Senseez Pillow began in 2012 with a mother who wanted a soft, portable alternative to large vibrating mats for her autistic son. Since 2019 it has been run by sisters Terri Duncan, a speech-language pathologist with over 30 years' experience with autistic children, and Heather Duncan, an educator. Its cushions give a gentle vibration when squeezed. Logopedicum stocks 18 of its models.

Cushions that vibrate when pressed

Just squeeze the cushion and it vibrates. The blue cushion is square, 25 cm per side, in a discreet colour for those who prefer not to stand out. The orange cushion is the brand's best seller in our shop, and the soccer ball cushion is designed for football fans. There are also shirt, hoodie, octopus, turtle and cow shapes.

Minis, packs and hot/cold cushions

The minis fit in a school bag and can be used on any part of the body; the mini cow cushion is one of them. The tortoise pack combines the large cushion and the mini. The brand also makes hot/cold cushions with a gel pack you warm in the microwave or chill in the freezer.
