- Not recommended for carbonated beverages.

ARK’s premium one-way valve makes drinking easier by controlling the direction of the liquid: the liquid flows into the straw, but does not empty back into the glass. Because the liquid always remains at the top of the straw, less effort is required for each sip and less air is swallowed. As a result, users tend to experience less coughing while consuming more liquids. This valve, made of stainless steel, is easy to clean, disassemble, clean and reassemble. Especially recommended for people with oral motor difficulties, weak suction or problems generating and maintaining suction.

- Compatible with most regular drinking straws measuring 0.25″ in diameter
- Measures just over 2 inches long
- An additional (spare) stainless steel ball and washer are included in the package.
- Not recommended for carbonated beverages.
- Recommended for light liquids (water, milk, juices without pulp, etc).
- In thickened liquids, “nectar” consistency works well but in “pudding” consistency it does not work, as it is too thick to drink even with a normal straw without a valve. This may vary depending on the brand of thickener.
- Caution: contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard; please supervise at all times.
