Description
A card game that tests your luck to help develop focus and self-control
If you’re looking for a game that combines instant fun with cognitive benefits, “Pelusas” is a sure bet. But here’s the interesting part: it’s not just about collecting cards… it’s about knowing when to stop. And that’s where many people fall short.
“Pelusas” is a card game based on the “push your luck” mechanic, where players must decide whether to keep drawing cards to score points… or stop before losing it all. That constant tension makes every turn exciting and unique.
Benefits of “Pelusas”:
This game is not only entertaining, but also offers value in educational and therapeutic settings:
- It trains inhibitory control, as it forces you to rein in your impulses
- Improves quick decision-making
- Promotes sustained attention
- It helps build frustration tolerance
How to play?
On each turn, players draw cards from the community deck to earn points. They can keep drawing as many as they want… but if they draw a duplicate number, they lose everything they’ve earned that round. The key is deciding when to take a risk and when to stop, creating a thrilling and engaging dynamic.
Game features:
“Pelusas” includes a deck of numbered cards with simple, clear illustrations designed to make them easy to identify at a glance. Its compact size makes it easy to take anywhere, and the rules are very straightforward, so you can start playing in just a few minutes without any hassle.
Recommended for ages 8 and up, though it can be easily adapted to different skill levels.
It’s an ideal game for small groups or families, usually with 2 to 6 players.
It is very useful for developing executive functions such as attention, impulse control, and decision-making in educational or therapeutic settings.
Spanish and Portuguese edition.
