They are also useful for conveying the learning of additional concepts such as the sound of words.
Particularly suitable for the youngest children, the three-step method is used by Montessori for the introduction of new concepts such as names, sounds, numbers, shapes, colors, etc. The process is divided into three phases: the educator chooses the materials and presents them to the child for a first familiarization and distinction.
