Description
It relaxes, drains and promotes!
Suction therapy, performed by applying suction cups to specific areas of the skin, alters the elastic characteristics of the muscle fascia and stretches the soft tissue through the hyperemia or hemostasis that occurs. Such tissue stretching stimulates blood circulation and promotes lymphatic drainage. This therapeutic effect, of improving circulation, inhibits substances that stimulate inflammatory cells that generate pain. Thus, cupping, in addition to reducing pain, reduces edema, relieves muscle tension and improves functional capacity.
Recently, cupping therapy has begun to be used as a non-invasive facelift treatment, with the objective of giving the skin a smoother and more relaxed appearance thanks to the rebalancing of facial tensions that allows smoothing the appearance of fine lines or expression wrinkles. In addition to the effects mentioned above, some studies also point to other physiological effects such as the stimulation of fibroblasts, collagen and elastin fibers.
The orofacial cupping cups are designed for external use on the face and neck, on the entire skin, except on the eyes, according to the dynamic therapy or massage method. They should be used by appropriately qualified health professionals. It should be noted that if left at rest for more than two seconds in the same position, skin reactions such as edema or bruising (usually purple bruising in a circular shape) may occur, which may take from a few hours to a few days to disappear.
Precautions:
1. Pro-Fono orofacial suction cups should not be applied to mucous membranes, incisions or orifices with drains, abrasions and/or wounds.
2. For the use of orofacial suction cups to reduce facial pain, it is recommended that the health professional using this technique have a course of specialization in this area and ensure that the pain presented by the patient is of muscular origin.
3. The use of cupping in aesthetic treatments should be performed only in healthy people and without pain in the face and neck.
4. Non-sterile product: disinfect before use and after each use.
It is suggested to use the medium orofacial suction cups cup for the neck and cheeks; and the mini orofacial cupping cup for the other regions of the face: oral orbicularis and eyes, nose and forehead. To stretch the orofacial and cervical muscles, the cupping cup should be applied from the origin of each muscle to the insertion.
Contraindications: This product is contraindicated for persons with acute or chronic dermatological diseases, including skin tumors; persons with vascular problems or coagulopathies; and/or persons in a feverish state or undergoing infectious processes. It is also not indicated for use in persons who have recently (last six months) undergone botox, filling, peeling or lifting procedures with tensor or support threads. It is also recommended for use with caution in persons with sensitive skin and/or prone to excessive bruising.
