Description
Choose the mini electrode or electrode tip for your electrostimulation work.
The conductive pens or Pro-Fono intraoral conductive pen is the ideal accessory for intraoral electrostimulation work. Specifically, they are portable devices used to conduct the electric current produced by an electrostimulation device (not included with the product) to the biological tissues to be stimulated.
This element is an extensor stick used to apply Neuromuscular Electro Stimulation (NMES) of motor points inside the oral cavity for the rehabilitation of orofacial dysfunctions (dysfunctional swallowing, dysphagia, speech alterations, dysphonia, etc.), facial aesthetic treatments or others.
These cannulas are ergonomically designed for use in the intraoral cavity and in the face and neck regions with patients of various age groups. At the end of each swab, a mini electrode can be attached with a circular or rectangular shape/tip depending on the area to be treated. Thanks to its universal connector, its use is compatible with any electrostimulation equipment using biphasic electrical currents (any brand of device). The shapes of its conductive tips were specially designed for speech therapy or speech therapy rehabilitation. There are different models available depending on what is to be worked: motor points, cylindrical, lingual, sublingual, soft palate, tip pack and intraoral tip pack.
The work of muscular rebalancing assisted by electrostimulation favors functional restoration in cases of voice, swallowing disorders, brain damage, etc., since in addition to improving motor function (strength and range of motion), the therapeutic currents can reduce pain, stimulate the sensory level, etc.
