A star-shaped teether that will delight sensory seekers for its variation and texture. One of the thinnest chewing elements on the market.

One of the thinnest biters!
Whether you think it looks like a sun, a starfish, a ninja star or something else, sensory seekers will love all the variation and texture. It has five different pointy arms to chew on, each with a different texture: smooth, ridged, stepped, grooved and rough. The texture of each arm also increases in intensity as it moves clockwise around the chew, with the smooth arm providing the least amount of sensory information and the bumpy arm providing the most. It measures just over 4″ wide/height, and each arm is approximately 1.7″ long and 0.35″ thick. It is one of the slimmest hand biters.
A very useful oral sensory aid as a safe alternative to parafunctions such as chewing on pencils, crayons, shirts, fingers, etc. and to help calm, concentrate and self-regulate. Ark Therapeutic teethers, are different colors, as these relate to different hardnesses or consistencies. In this case the star can be:
- Red and yellow(soft consistency): recommended for soft chewers (those who do not chew at all).
- Pistachio and pink(medium or firm consistency): quite chewy, recommended for moderate chewers.
- Blue and orange(hard consistency): more difficult level, as it is harder. Recommended for users who use a lot of force when biting or chewing.
Caution: This product is not a toy. Direct supervision is required. Recommended for ages 3 years and older. Although these chewing tools are tough and durable, no chewing tool is indestructible. Wear and tear can be expected given the nature of the intended use. Its duration is usually equal to the amount and intensity of chewing, as well as other variables (such as the strength of the chewing musculature, stress/anxiety levels, whether other sensory strategies are present, etc.). While for some people a chewing tool will last forever, for others with intense or aggressive oral needs, they may use it very quickly. Supervise at all times, periodically inspect the chewing tool and replace it at the first sign of wear.
