Description
Set of teethers to help stabilize the jaw
A kit or set of four chew toys, used in a hierarchy, will help assess jaw skill levels and work on improving stability, movement symmetry, and more. The acquired skills can then be transferred to aspects of feeding (you can teach children to chew food to enhance food safety) and facilitate phonation or provide greater speech clarity. Bite Tubes can also be used to meet the patient’s need for stimulation of the masticatory muscles, exercise the TMJ (temporomandibular joint), and control harmful habits such as teeth grinding or bruxism, thumb-sucking, pacifier use, among others.
Includes: one red Chewy Tube®, one yellow Chewy Tube®, one purple Chewy Tube®, one green Chewy Tube® and one original TalkTools instruction booklet.
Oral Placement Therapy: how the material is organised
That approach shapes the catalogue. The Oral Placement Therapy starter kit brings together the basics to begin with, and from there the work is organised in scales: the Horn Kit blowing kit and the straw kit for children and adults step up in difficulty one level at a time, so progress is observable rather than a matter of impression. For jaw dissociation, bite blocks set and stabilise the opening, and the jaw exerciser works strength and symmetry. On tongue and lips, the lingual pack with lift and lateraliser trains the tip and the lateral edges separately, while the Lip Gym lip weights add load to lip closure.Vibratory stimulation
The vibratory stimulation line stands on its own: you can see it in full at Sensi by Talk Tools, with its handle and interchangeable tips. For sensory work with younger children there is the Jiggler orofacial vibratory animal, and for specific cases the apraxia kit or the teether kit.Why buy Talk Tools at Logopedicum?
