Description
Lightweight wooden medals for children, to reward games and achievements
There are times when a simple gesture of recognition can mean a lot to a child. This set of wooden children’s medals from Janod is designed precisely for that purpose: to celebrate effort, recognize achievements, and make sure every activity ends with a smile.
Whether it’s after a game, a fun activity, or a challenge successfully completed, these medals make the end of the activity a special moment.
This set includes 5 wooden medals, each with a colorful fabric ribbon so it can be easily worn around the neck. One side features one of the illustrated animals—moose, sheep, elephant, crocodile, or lion—while the other side features an engraved champion star, a perfect symbol for celebrating achievements.
The medals are the right size for children and are made from FSC™-certified wood sourced from responsibly managed forests.
These medals help boost children’s motivation and self-esteem. Recognizing their effort or participation helps them understand that winning isn’t always what matters—it’s about trying, persevering, and enjoying the process. They also foster sportsmanship, cooperation, and celebrating others’ achievements.
They can be handed out at the end of a game, a race, a scavenger hunt, or a group activity. They also make a lovely little gift to give out at children’s birthday parties or as a memento of a celebration. In educational or therapeutic settings, many professionals use them as positive reinforcement when a child achieves an important goal, overcomes a challenge, or completes a intervention process.
The set includes 5 wooden medals with colorful fabric ribbons. Each medal features an illustrated animal on one side and an engraved star on the other.
It is recommended for children aged 3 and up.
