When starting any myofunctional therapy approach, especially with the youngest children, it is necessary to know the structures and bucco-phonatory organs that will be involved in the different functions that we will have to work on (breathing, swallowing, chewing, phonoarticulation…).
Tongue imbalance is one of the aspects that we most commonly need to improve. All resources are few to help children to correctly position their tongue at rest.
