The bite blocks or mandibular work blocks are a great complement to any box of oral motor stimulation tools. This resource, consisting of 2 sets of 7 elements each of different thickness, allows us to tone the masticatory musculature, carrying out symmetrical exercises if desired. In addition to the synchronous exercise of the maceral and temporal muscles, they promote oral opening, encourage jaw coordination and stabilization, etc., aspects that are often considered in the re-education of mastication, swallowing and/or speech.
This pack consists of soft and hard bite blocks, which offer good resistance during the exercises, without being completely rigid in order to be pleasant and soft with dental contact. This type of work is not recommended in the presence of TMJ disorders.
