The CELF-5 (Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals) is the most complete battery: it assesses the fundamentals of oral language and helps profile a patient’s strengths and weaknesses. The PPVT-5 Peabody, Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test, assesses receptive vocabulary: the child points to the picture matching the word. And the EVT-3, Expressive Vocabulary Test, assesses the other side: expressive vocabulary, where the patient does the naming.
