Description
With magic lantern!
Box with 63 cards illustrated with beautiful drawings to encourage mentalist work. Each card represents a curious or absurd situation that the person will have to infer and argue linguistically. On the back of each card, there is a short story and 3 written sentences related to the text, so that the patient or student can choose the correct answer. The cards allow an amusing self-correction, since the child has a pointer or “magic or secret” flashlight with which he/she can verify the correct answer. The texts are presented in English, but are easily understandable and adaptable to other languages. Material especially recommended for those children with pragmatic, abstraction, language dysabilities,… It allows both individual and group work.
There are three groups of cards depending on the skill we are interested in working on:
Section I – (cards #1-21): you are required to make an inference about the character’s personality from their behavior in the scene.
Section II – (cards #22-43): the person must infer how the character in the scene is feeling.
Section III – (cards #44-63): you must identify the appropriate/inappropriate behavior the character is displaying in the scene.
The pack contains a box for storing the cards, a flashlight or “magic” pointer and an explanatory card with multiple activities.
