Description
Train your breathing with the incentive spirometer
The BCRespiVol® Volumetric incentive spirometer is a portable medical device that measures the volume of your breath.
It helps the lungs recover after surgery or in lung disease by keeping them active and free of fluid.
Patients are encouraged to breathe in through the stimulatoras slowly and deeply as possible.
Instructions and operation:
Open the package and remove the volumetric inspiratory flow stimulator.
2. Remove the inhalation tube with the mouthpiece, pull the inhalation tube to the desired length and connect the end of the inhalation tube with the inlet of the incentive.
3. Slide the green marker to the volume (ml) prescribed by the physician.
4. Hold the volumetric inspiratory stimulator in an upright position.
5. Exhale deeply and expel as much air as possible, then place the mouthpiece in your mouth and inhale as deeply and evenly as you can, causing the indicator ball to rise toward the smiley face position and remain in the center of the smiley face, so that the piston slowly rises and remains as long as possible at the chosen volume level.
6. Finish the breathing exercise and exhale.
7. Repeat step 5 for 10-15 minutes, then rest. Patients after surgery can perform deep breathing training under the guidance of medical personnel.
Two models available: small 3000ml and large 5000ml.
