Description
Pragmatic difficulties in the comprehension and use of oral language frequently appear in children with autism, semantic-pragmatic dysphasia or mental deficiency.
It has been shown that a visual and graphic type of support could be useful in the development of skills such as the interpretation of internal states, adjustment of information to the context, comprehension and uses of ambiguous linguistic forms, verbal variations in relation to the context … etc.
In the mind proposes a series of graphic supports for the training of this type of skills: it is a material that has been used for several years in the field of clinical intervention, with all types of children who present important language disorders but especially with those characterized by their pragmatic difficulties.
