The kit of guides Oralight professional is a set of elements specifically designed to rebalance the orofacial musculature, reestablish chewing and swallowing, improve speech,… This interesting work material is presented organized in four different models, made of polycarbonate, which are presented in 2 sizes (small size in orange color suitable for children under 10 years and large size in blue color recommended from 10 years) all of them to be able to perform a thorough work of the orofacial muscle groups.
Each guide is made up of a rod with a concave device at one end containing various protrusions and specific elements to perform the target work through different types of isometric, isotonic, etc.) exercises.
- Tool 1: lip stimulator (can be used to stimulate the orbicularis oculi, mentonis, buccinator, etc.).
- Tool 2: tongue apex stimulator (allows working the genioglossus muscle, the intrinsic muscles of the tongue,…).
- Tool 3: tongue restrictor shield (allows to work the genioglossus muscle, the intrinsic muscles of the tongue,…).
- Tool 4: tongue base stimulator (stimulates the styloglossus, palatoglossus, hyoglossus muscles, etc.). Each of these guides will allow us to emphasize the work of lip sealing, the precision of tongue movements to facilitate swallowing, chewing or speech, etc.
