TalkTools Lip Gym is a total lip workout program in a box! The colorful weights added to your tongue depressor make lip locking exercises more fun! The weights, 2 of each size, are marked with their corresponding weight so you can mix and match as needed. They fit all standard tongue depressors.
Use this program to improve awareness, location, strength/stability and muscle memory for lip closure needed to teach the bilabial phonemes /m, b, p/. It is also helpful in developing mentonian muscle location, strength/stability for the production of /r/ and vowel /r/. For patients who drool, this activity encourages lip closure to improve saliva management.
