Description
Tell me why is an ideal tool for speech therapists and therapists to work on the pragmatic function of language and improve comprehension in children, both in session and in the classroom. Teaching the why of everyday situations allows us to go beyond what we are seeing. This resource will also help us to understand the cause-consequence relationship and to order and sequence stories as a basis for oral and/or written narrative discourse.
This collection is available in 4 levels of difficulty:
Folder 1: Aimed at working on language acquisition and improving comprehension in the youngest children. It contains cartoons on cards illustrated in full color that allow the child to develop different everyday situations with activities to easily understand the cause-effect relationship.
Folder 2: This Tell me why deals with aspects of moods provoked by different situations (hunger, thirst, loneliness, play, tiredness, fear and anger).
Folder 3: Specially recommended to work on the pragmatic sense of language and improve comprehension in children.
Folder 4: Tell me why it deals with aspects of important events: birth of a sibling, a visit to the circus, Christmas, a day at school, etc.
Each contains 5 different cartoons, 7 character cards and 7 expression cards.
