This picture box includes 3 series of large photos:
– 42 photo scenes that allow to identify different emotions and their gradation (a little, a lot, too much)
– 10 photos on white background illustrating emotions (joy, sadness, anger, fear, surprise, …).
– 8 pictograms symbolizing the gradation of emotions.
Ideal material to work on identifying and expressing emotions, describing feelings, recognizing facial expressions, … experienced in one’s own person or recognized in others.
It aims to:
- Identify and relate emotions.
- Acquire a precise vocabulary to express one’s emotions and feelings.
- Encourage empathy and interest in what others think and feel.
- Develop self-expression, self-esteem and understanding of the importance of body language in messages.
- To favor the development of the emotional and expressive language of the students.
- Improve communication skills and increased emotional awareness.
The didactic guide presents concrete language situations that we can carry out with children, in relation to activities of observation, classification and expression.
Examples: ordering and classifying emotions, associating photos with each other and justifying them, relating an experienced situation, miming a “sketch”, representing through drawings, etc.
